DOWN Bassist To Guest On 'The Notorious D.A.N. Show'

DOWN/ex-PANTERA bassist Rex Brown will guest on "The Notorious D.A.N. Show" (hosted by "Notorious" Dan Leo) on Tuesday, April 7 at 4:00 p.m. PST.

The program is looking for fan-submitted questions, and all you have to do is send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Rex Brown Interview" to get your question on the air.

"The Notorious D.A.N. Show" airs live on Broken Wave Radio 1 every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PST, playing an eclectic selection of metal, punk, and hard rock music.

DOWN — the acclaimed New Orleans band featuring CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),bassist Rex Brown, guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA) — will make a number of European festival appearances this summer before embarking on one more run of shows in select U.S. markets in August/September. The group will then return to the studio from October through December to record what will eventually become the fourth DOWN album, tentatively due in early 2010.

In October 2008, DOWNreleased a "deluxe edition" of its critically acclaimed third album, "Over the Under". The deluxe package, which was made available as a Best Buy exclusive, includes a DVD with over 30 minutes of previously unreleased live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. The album was released on Down Records in conjunction with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group (ILG).
